Continued The Editing

       Today I continued editing. It is my second day working on editing for the film. The first I did was finish scraping extra takes. It is important that I do this well so the film looks the best. After spending 20 minutes re-watching the recording I think I found all the best takes. Thankfully I did most of this the other day so it was quick. The next part of editing was removing the dead space between clips. Since there were so many clips I was finding it hard to close the gaps in a timely manner. This led me to asking Google for tips. After that I learned that right clicking the dead space removes it instantly. This was much faster than what I was doing before. Finally, all the footage was condensed down to a manageable size. Then, I started cutting parts of the clips. A lot of clips had extra footage at the start and end. I took it all away. Now the film was sitting around 3 minutes and 30 seconds. The Instruments Are Filmed

  Today I filmed for the vinyl commercial. The plan was to film instruments for the start of the commercial. Thankfully I had the perfect friend to help. I went to my friend’s house today to film her playing instruments. It took some trial and error but I got the shots that I needed. I only needed about 7-10 seconds of footage but I aired on the side of caution and filmed nearly 5 minutes. Since I did that it’s going to be harder on me when I start editing tomorrow. I filmed my friend playing each instrument for a few different angles because I couldn’t decide which I preferred. These shots are crucial for the commercial. There will be music in the background of the commercial. Each instrument that I filmed is part on the song. First the drums then the piano and lastly the guitar.
