First Taste of Acting

 

Today I became an actor for the commercial. To prepare for my role, I put on a nice shirt and pants. I did this to appear like a cool teenager. Then I waited after school for Matthew to come to my house. He was the camera man. I used one of my vinyls as a prop. The first thing I acted out was me taking the record out of the package. I had bought it from Sweat Records and saved the packaging for the commercial. It was easy, it only took one take. Then I took the vinyl out of the case. The plan was to then have me put on the turntable but there was a problem. It was on a shelf with poor lighting. Since I don’t have anything like a ring light I had to work around this hurdle. So, I moved it to my room which had better lighting. Then I was able to act out putting on the table and starting the record player. All the separate segments only took a few minutes to act out. I did almost everything on the first take. After acting I thought my production for the day was over but there was still one thing that needed to be done. Matthew had already left so I became the camera man for a quick minute. I sent a bunch of records on the table and took an aerial shot over them. This would be the last bit of filming that needed to be done for the commercial.
