Solo Coin Filming
Today I filmed for the music video. I filmed a bunch of coins as B roll footage. The coins fit the theme of money because the song is about money. The plot of the music video is a robber running away from a police officer. The shot I filmed will act as a transition between scenes. For one part I filmed myself knocking over stacks of coins. This will play after the robber falls on the floor. This should help create an interesting parallels between the two. It will also make both scenes more connected. In addition, I filmed myself dropping coins. This will play during the chase. This will hopefully create more tension during the scene. Lastly, I filmed it all in slow motion. This will hopefully make it look better for the audience. The filming did not take long thankfully. It only lasted about 15 minutes in total. The hardest part was getting the coins. I had to fish them out of a piggy bank and funnel them back in. I also had to clear a clean surface so nothing else would get in the shot. In conclusion, it was a very successful day for the project.
