Acting and Filming
To day was the last day that I had to film. It was also my last day acting. I started off filming Matthew. I went to the pool gate and recorded Matthew walking in. The camera followed him as he walked in. After that I walk inside the pool area and recorded another angle. These two shots will be edited together seamlessly later. In this scene Matthew takes his phone out. It was important to switch angles so the audience could see. It good to show and not tell in film making. Now it was my turn to act. I not that good at it so I was a little nervous. The first thing I had to do was to pretend to get pushed in the pool. It was extremely important I got this on my first try. My hair would be wet after I fall so it would be a continuity error otherwise. After that I had to swim in the pool. That last part was the hardest because I had dialogue. The next day will de dedicated to editing. After all this filming I am glad it is over. It was very exhausting having to constantly reshoot scenes.
