Acting

     

    Today I became an actor. I acted in the first two scenes in my house. Matthew was recording me. The first thing I did was act out the scene of me filling up a cup. It took a few times to get it right. I kept getting my hand in the way of the camera. It would then block the cup which was the focus of the shot. After completing that I went to work on the next shot. This shot was of me putting on a bag and walking out the door. This shot was difficult for a different reason. I had to keep my face from looking upset. My character was meant to be happy in that scene so my acting had to reflect that emotion. But after a few tries I got it down. Finally I acted out a scene of me waking up. This was not for sure going into the film. The scene was something extra if the time limit had not been met. The scene was the easiest thing I did that day. It only took two shots. After that I was done for the day. Acting is hard but I hope to get better as time passes.
