Working On Filming

 

Today I filmed for the project. There were many things I had to record today. The main reason being to stay ahead of the schedule. I want to have extra time after finishing the project just in case I need to reshoot anything. Regardless, the first thing I did was film Matthew walking out of a car. This shot was not too hard. The only hard part was positioning myself in a way where you can’t see my reflection in the car. This shot starts still and then follows Matthew as he walks away. The next thing I did was film a shot of Matthew walking on the sidewalk. In this shot, the camera moves perpendicular to Matthew. The camera follows him as he walks down the sidewalk. This shot took a few attempts to get right. The first time I did it, I was too far and Matthew didn't fit the frame. This meant I had to move forward till the frame was fit. The next attempt Matthew messed up. Thankfully, the third try was the last. After that I reviewed the footage and found a mistake in the car scene. This meant I had to redo that shot. I went back to my m oms car and got ready. After that I clicked record and got it on the first try.
