Completing The Editing

    Today I finished all the editing I had to do. All of my efforts have come together. Hours of work cultivated into this 2 minute film. Today I finished shorting the film. I trimmed a bit from the edge of some scenes. This gives the editing a cleaner look. It also reduces the time of the film. After this I still needed to shave off a few more seconds. This led me to just cut off the last 4 of the final scene. I think this was best. My main reason is because the viewer is given enough information to see where the plot may go. I also felt many of the other scenes were too important to cut or shorten. After getting the film length to 2 minutes I worked on adding the titles. This was very easy because they were already written down. All I had to do was add them to the film. Since this is my first time using Davinchi, it took a minute to find where to add text over the film. I think I did a good job. The font and length they appear on screen is consistent. The movie title drop is the only different one. That one has a larger font size to fill the screen. I think it looks really great.
